How do I know if a Pokémon card or any other CGC-graded card is authentic?
1- Check the CGC logo
- The CGC logo is printed in white in bold print, and in the background is the CGC logo repeated several times and changes colors when the card is held under light.
2- Certification Number
- Go to the official CGC website: https://www.cgccards.com/certlookup Enter the certificate number. If the card appears with the same specifications and image, it is authentic.
3- CGC logo on the back
- On the reverse side of the card, on the left side, there is a CGC logo integrated into the design and surrounded by fine details, which changes colors when the card is moved under the light.
4- Verify QR code
- Scan the barcode with your mobile phone and it will take you to the card page on the CGC website.
